Sleeping: This apartment has two spacious bedrooms with blinds.One double bedroom and one twin, both with wardrobes and bedside cabinets. There is a double sofa bed in the living area that converts easily.
General: The apartment is located in Alen Mak, a lovely resort situated between Varna & Golden Sands. It is fully furnished with air conditioning, satellite tv(flat screen)/dvd, fridge freezer, microwave, cooker & washing machine. Bathroom with bath/shower and patio area. Cleaning is undertaken on a weekly basis.
Entertainment: An abundance of bars, shops & restaurants within close proximity. Within the resort of Golden Sands you can find casinos and health spas offering massages, facials etc within the larger hotels. Most restaurants in the nearby resort of Golden Sands have entertainment every night which includes singers and traditional Bulgarian dancing! The waterpark makes a great day out for the kids and adults.
Eating/Living: Bulgarian national cuisine is excellent and there are many top-class restaurants, taverns, and cafeterias scattered throughout the resort. The shops and markets in Golden Sands sell everything you could imagine including top quality copies.
General: There is a large shared swimming pool with sunbathing terrace and pool bar which has interenet access, open from 10.00am and 7.00pm during peak season. Fitness centre and sauna / steam room. Immaculately maintained gardens with well lit walkways.

Welcome pack costs £10 and includes 2-litre bottle of lager, bottle of water, margarine, white bread, strawberry jam, toilet paper, semi-skimmed milk, Nescafe, tea bags and sugar.

(Price £15 per stay, only available to visitors staying at Spring Court & Seaview Court)
Includes the hire of a cot and a high chair for your stay.

For flights try - First Choice, Thomas Cook, Thompson Fly, BA or Bulgarian Air. Flight time is approximately 3.5 hours. Bulgarian currency is the lev with 2.8 to the pound. Summer temperatures are usually between 26-30 degrees. You can order a taxi, book an excursion using the phone on site and your HHB representative is close at hand. Tip - It is a good idea to order a welcome pack if you are arriving late at night! Towel packs are available to hire (2 bed/2 hand) at £3.50 per week.
On site: The complex has a shared swimming pool with childrens section and sunbathing terrace with sunbeds. Poolside bar with internet access, fitness centre, sauna & steam room. Gardens are well maintained and well lit, secure parking. There is a bus stop at the end of the road with a reliable bus service. There is a supermarket and other shops close by.
Less than 15 mins away: Only five minutes by taxi or a 20 minute walk is Golden Sands, the largest of the Black Sea Resorts. Enjoy the beach activities and local markets by day and the restaurants, pubs ,clubs and casino's by night. Varna City, which is 20 minutes by taxi, has a very cosmopolitan feel and boasts a magnificent cathedral, a seapark with dolphin show and many shops and a market.
Less than 45 mins away: Balchik, which was once part of the Romanian Empire is half an hour away from Alen Mak by car. There is a summer palace and botanical garden - Well worth a visit. Albena, which is close to Balchik is very picturesque.
Extra information: Golden Sands has one of the best beaches in Europe and holds a blue flag award, miles upon miles of clean, white sand. The resort is ideal for families & couples looking for an enjoyable break in the sun. Prices in restuarants and bars are approximately a third less than what you would pay in the U.K. Bulgarian people are very friendly and many speak very good English.
