Ski properties and health spa makes the
most of Bansko’s year-round appeal
Property owners will be able to enjoy their Bulgarian apartment all year round at the prestigious Pinewood Ski Lodge and Health Spa in Bansko.
Bulgarian builder and developer, HHB Holiday Homes, has released 70 studios and apartments at the Pinewood Ski Lodge and Health Spa at the foot of the mountain and a five minute walk to the Gondola and the forest.
The complex will include a spa and treatment centre offering facials, massages and body treatments. There will also be a sauna and fitness room. Prices will start at £9, considerably cheaper than treatments in the UK.
Bansko is an established ski and walking centre with 21st century facilities. With flights to Sofia on the increase and flight prices falling, more and more visitors are trying out the challenging ski slopes in winter and enjoying walking and hiking in summer.
Stephen Dainty, managing director of HHB Holiday Homes, says: “This will be one of the last opportunities to purchase off-plan apartments at these prices in such a fantastic location close to the forest and within easy walking distance to the Gondola.”
Studios and apartments at Pinewood will include flooring and kitchen units with electric cooker rings and stainless steel hood. Ski storage facilities will also be available.
Pinewood will have a dedicated reception team and site manager. There will also be a bar, on-site parking and landscaped gardens. Apartments will have satellite TV connection and optional air conditioning.
The apartments at Pinewood will be open all-year-round and offer excellent rental potential for holidaymakers and weekenders keen to take advantage of the spa facilities.
A free furniture pack is included for any of the company’s Bulgarian apartments bought off-plan until the end of April 2007.
Potential buyers can also take advantage of inspection trips from Dublin, Manchester and London for £199, which includes flights and accommodation.
Once up and running, Pinewood will be staffed by a team from HHB Holiday Homes who will be on hand to offer the full range of aftersales services and to help with rental management.
Prices at Pinewood start from £28,000 for a studio, around £48,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £85,000 for a two-bedroom apartment. The building is due to be completed in summer 2008.
Bansko sits in the Pirin mountains around 160 kilometers from Sofia. The region is renowned for its cuisine and colourful traditions. At more than 900 metres above sea-level, Bansko is Bulgaria's most modern ski centre with 64kms of runs. It has the best snow record and the longest ski season - from December to April - of all Bulgarian ski resorts and has seen a huge amount of investment over the past few years.
Property owners and holidaymakers will also be able to take advantage of a taxi service set up by HHB Holiday Homes which will take them straight from Sofia airport to their accommodation in Bansko - whether at Pinewood or elsewhere.
The taxi costs £95 for up to four people including luggage and skis and the service can be booked at www.hhbholidayhomes.com
Stephen Dainty added: “Skiers wll appreciate the opportunity to cut the journey time to their resort and to take advantage of a door-to-door service.”
