Sleeping: One large room with double bed and wardrobe, also air-conditioned. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Pull out sofa bed which sleeps two, in the living room.
THERE IS A STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY WITHIN THIS APARTMENT.

General: Balcony with pool/sea view. Kitchenette with full sized fridge-freezer, microwave, hob and washing-machine.
Living/dining area has two large sofas (one is a sofa bed), 21inch colour TV, DVD player, CD/Radio, dining room table with four chairs, patio door leading to balcony. The main living area is also air-condtioned. Bathroom full sized bath with shower over. There is a NON-SMOKING policy within this apartment. We regret that we are unable to accept single sex groups for bookings in this apartment.

Entertainment: An abundance of bars, shops & restaurants within close proximity. Within the resort of Golden Sands you can find casinos and there are even health spas offering massages, facials etc within the larger hotels. Most restaurants in the nearby resort of Golden Sands have entertainment every night which includes singers and traditional Bulgarian dancing! The waterpark makes a great day out for the kids...and some adults!

Eating/Living: Although the apartments are comfortably equipped for self catering, eating out in the resort is much cheaper than the U.K, a three course meal costs approximately £9.00. A pint of beer approximately 75p! There is a wide variety of restuarants such as Chinese, Indian & the Scandinavian Steak house is a must! Stalls selling everything from fake designer goods, handbags, shoes & trainers at very cheap prices are plenty.

General: There is a communal swimming pool (shared between 2 blocks of apartments) with terrace area for sunbathing and a poolside bar. The apartment blocks are surrounded by a brick wall and electronic gates for your privacy. There are private car-parking spaces should you wish to hire a car during your stay.

Within the complex there are landscaped gardens with various shrubs, and well-lit pathways.

Each apartment is accessed via stone steps at the back of the property.

Flights direct to Varna from the U.K are available May-October through First Choice Flights and Thomson Flights. As an example, an adult ticket in peak season costs approx £200 including all taxes, meal on the plane etc. The journey from Manchester is three and a half hours.
Currency in Bulgaria is the Lev, there are approx. 2.8 lev to the pound. All resorts have exchange bureauxs.
Renting a Bulgarian apartment and booking your flights seperately can save you money

On site: Quiet residential area although a 25 minute walk or £3.00 taxi ride takes you into the main resort of Golden Sands with an abundance of bars, restuarants, nightclubs & casinos. Here you will also find the "Aquapolis" waterpark.

Less than 15 mins away: Golden sandy beach around 15 minutes walk with beach bars & restaurants, main resort of Golden Sands approx 25mins walk.

Less than 45 mins away: 20 minute transfer time from the airport and if you like to sample the local culture then a visit to Varna is a must. Here you will find evidence of Bulgarian life. The cathedral is exceptionally beautiful.

Extra information: Golden Sands has one of the best beaches in Europe, miles upon miles of clean, white sand. The resort is ideal for families & couples looking for an enjoyable break in the sun. Prices in restuarants and bars are approximately a third less than what you would pay in the U.K. Bulgarian people are very friendly and many speak very good English.
